This salad is so refreshing and alive… why?

Because i add my homemade pickled cabbage to give it a zing!


  • Potato- 1 kilo

  • Onion- 1 piece red or white

  • Chives- one cup chopped

  • Mayonnaise- (gluten free is an option) 2 spoonful

  • Yogurt- 4 spoonful

  • Lemon- juice of 2 pieces

  • My pickled red cabbage- 1 cup

  • Sea salt and ground pepper


Peel and cut the potatoes in 1 inch cubes. Rinse well and drain.

Boil water in a pot, add salt then add the potatoes.

Let boil on high for 15 minutes. Do not overcook!

Drain and place in the fridge to cool.


In the meantime, mix all the other ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste.

Bring the potatoes out and add the sauce.

Fold slowly to avoid breaking the pieces.

Serve cold as a side with your grills or as a salad.

It keeps nicely in the fridge for up to 3 days.
